Solar Park at Elval Colour Plant

Elval Colour, as part of its continuous and coordinated efforts to promote green technologies, installed solar panels on the roof of its production buildings.

Our company completed the installation of a 1MWp solar park. The total project consists of 1850 solar panels of 530Wp power each.

According to software simulation analysis, the solar park will produce more than 1300MWh of electrical energy on a yearly basis. Considering the recent very high energy prices and our 24/7 plant operation, Return On Investment is calculated in less than two years.

Our Carbon footprint will be reduced by more than 800tCO₂ on a yearly basis.

This was the first part of our project as our company is planning to install the second park of solar panels of 1.1MW, thus reaching a 2.1MW total installed power that is expected to be realized soon.
